Veterinary Technician

Amy is a registered veterinary technician with over two decades of hands-on experience and leadership in veterinary medicine.  A proud graduate of Purdue University, she earned her Associates degree in 1999 and her Bachelors degree in 2000 from Purdue's respected Veterinary Technology Program.

Her career journey has taken her through general practice, emergency medicine, academia, diagnostic sales, and now has returned to her true professional home - veterinary dermatology.  Amy has served as Program Director for the Veterinary Technology program at Harrison College and worked with Antech Diagnostics before coming back to specialty care.  In dermatology, she thrives on assisting with complex skin cases and helping pets feel comfortable and healthy again.

Amy's passion lies in education, patient care, and building strong client relationships.  Her deep understanding of both medical and human sides of veterinary medicine has made her a valued resource in every role she's held.

Amy lives with her husband and their two children, Garren and Raeya.  Both are avid soccer fans and die-hard Real Madrid supporters.  As an active member of the local sports boosters, Amy can often be found cheering from the sidelines at soccer games, wrestling matches, or track and field events.  The family has shared their home with many beloved pets over the years.  They are partial to Chihuahuas and black cats.
